The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a diverse cast of characters, and a gripping narrative showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces expanding in power within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Revealing details for the latest installment of the new season are included.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The latest chapter concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of adventurers who will split off from the central cast to begin their own adventure, distinct from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table features Teor (portrayed by Travis), the agile character (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Given an extensive roster, it was obvious from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

As described by the DM, the warrior group is for participants who prefer a classically intense fight-heavy gameplay experience where diplomatic options are rare.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might look unsuited, but the actions of the third episode show why these five characters are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

First, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a brutal first encounter with the enemy group.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the campaign’s events—used the enemy for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to auction.

The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each adventurer has a specific drive to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and best friend, seeks retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and warns that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The warrior and The healer, having defied his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could enable the group access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are known criminals.
  • The warrior and Wicander betrayed House Halovar and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This leaves them few options but to journey toward Timmony in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to episode three’s follow-up content, we learn that the combat party won’t be around the following episode, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Explorers and Schemers tables.

Audiences can look forward to finding out which characters will be where in the season’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
